Motorola has announced Moto X4 – a mid range Android smartphone. It’s been a while since Motorola has come up with a new phone in Moto X Series. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Octacore processor and Adreno 508 GPU.

Snapdragon 630 seen on Moto X4 is a mid-range Chipset and is an upgrade to Snapdragon 625 currently seen on many mid-range Android smartphones in India. It comes in 3GB or 4GB ram variants with 32GB or 64GB internal storage. The display is a 5.2 inch IPS LCD one with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It ships with 3000mAh battery with USB Type C port and 15W Turbo Charging support. NFC is supported. And yes, there is a headphone jack.

In the camera department, It has a 12MP F2.0 aperture Dual Auto focus camera with 4K recording and 1080P @ 60 fps support. Like every other smartphone these days, this too come with a secondary camera at the back – an 8MP F2.2 aperture, 120 degree wide angle lens. On the front, you get a 16MP F2.0 aperture selfie camera with flash. 

One welcome feature many Moto fans would love in this device is that Moto X4 is IP68 certified – i.e. Dust and Water Resistant. Motorola has integrated Amazon Alexa along with Google Assistant in this new X series smartphone. It will be available in Sterling Blue and Super Black colors. There is a fingerprint sensor on the front home button with gesture support.
