ZTE has launched Nubia N2 in India at a price of Rs 15,990 MRP on Amazon. It comes with a massive 5000mAh battery and is powered by Mediatek Octacore processor. It has 4GB of ram and 64GB of storage. Check out the product page here.
Instead of having a Snapdragon 625 on board, ZTE has chose this to power with a 1.5GHz + 1GHz MTK6750 octa core processor coupled with Mali-T860 GPU. Other android smartphones powered by the same chipset are Oppo F1s, Oppo A37, Nubia M2 Lite, LG K10 2017, Asus Zenfone 3s Max etc.
The display on the front is a 5.5 inch 720P HD AMOLED one. There is a fingerprint sensor on the front that unlocks the phone is 0.2 seconds and supports app encryption and other functions. It ships with older Android 6 Marshmallow with Nubia UI 4.0 on top.
In the camera department, there is a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and F2.2 aperture lens. On the front there is a 16MP shooter with an F2.0 aperture lens.
Is this phone worth buying ? Current selling price of Nubia N2 on Amazon.in is Rs 15,990. For that price, i don’t think this is a good value for money device. You can get better overall value from getting a Honor 6X 64GB for Rs 13,999 or the 32GB for Rs 11,999 – both can be updated to Android Nougat. If you want a 5000mAh battery device, then wait for Moto E4 Plus which is launching in India soon.
