Nokia has just launched Nokia 2 in India. This is an entry level budget device and as you can expect has just minimal basic specs. This will priced around Rs 6,999 in India. Is it worth buying for that price ? Is it value for money ? Let’s check out the specs and see.
Reasons to buy / Not buy Nokia 2, Pros and Cons.
First let’s talk about the best spec Nokia 2 has. It has a 4100mAh battery and sports a 5 inch HD 720P LCD display. The build quality is quite good as well.
In all other areas, Nokia 2 doesn’t have value for money specs.
It ships with just 1GB of ram ! That’s ridiculous for a phone in 2017. Also, it only has 8GB of internal storage – that’s bad as well. There is NO fingerprint sensor as well.
Cameras – 8MP on the back and 5MP on the front are nothing to complain about, as most budget devices have similar cameras on board.
One major Con i see in Nokia 2 is the processor on board. This is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 202 Quadcore processor, which is currently the least powerful you can get from Qualcomm. Nokia should have at least powered this with Snapdragon 430, which is an octacore chipset and is commonly seen on plenty of other Android smartphones.
So if you are looking for a phone with good battery life and is a Nokia fanboy, go grab one. Else, get a Redmi 4 or Redmi 4A to get a better value for money experience.
